Welsh Street Dance Championships 08/09
From the moment I started dancing I knew it was for me. At first it was just a hobby, but now it is my passion.

I have been dancing with 'YDance', a Street Dance Performance Group for about 4 years. 'YDance' is a group of made up of dance performance crews who I do street and break-dancing with, and so far I have loved it! From the moment I started dancing I knew it was for me. At first it was just a hobby, but now it is my passion.
Since being a part of 'YDance' I have been in so many shows and competitions all over the country including the World Street Dance Championships 2008 and 2009. I performed a solo and competed with my dance crew 'LDV', coming 3rd in the 2008 championships. It was so exciting!
This August I went to the UDO Welsh Street Dance Championships in Newport and competed in the Under 16 Intermediate category... and I came 1st place! The time I had and the feeling of winning was amazing.
My dance crew team 'LDV' also came 2nd in the UDO Welsh Street Dance Championships. We all did so well because of our passion and love for dance, but also because of Lynne Hughes our dance tutor who creates all our routines. Lynne is an amazing teacher.... "BIG UP TO LYNNE!" and a big thanks to Emma Mallam, the Dance Co-ordinator, if it wasn't for you we would never of had all the opportunities we've had.
