I was in the valleys recently and had a great couple of days staying with my friend .It was great to be back and cant wait til my next visit .

I hope members are looking after our birds now that the weather is colder . I refilled my feeders this morning and put a fat feeder out too. I do a daily bird count for Sandwell bird watch and hope now for some different species. I noticed that ladybirds were around quite late due to the mild weather but they have gone now. Even spring flowers have been seen . keep a look out for anything unusual and let your local wildlife trust know .Your info can be very important .Last Saturday our choral society gave a Christmas carol concert and I had the first verse of In The Bleak Midwinter to sing . A nice ending to my birthday!

Have a great Christmas, and don't forget Jesus. if it wasn't for him there would be no Christmas. NADOLIG LLAWEN!
