MICHELIN LAUNCH NEW I-SPY BOOKS!
Last November Michelin--the tyre people --re-launched the series of I-Spy pocket books after a decade. I was thrilled as I'm a keen i-spyer and have a large collection of books from the 1940`s to the present day, most of which are in use. I don't get bored especially in the holidays as I just take some books with me, a notebook and pen and go off exploring, discovering things I'd never seen before and finding out interesting things too .
Being a keen birdwatcher and naturalist I take my bird book and other nature books out to my local reserve and tick off what I see and my points mount up! I also enjoy history so that book goes with me too. There's a lot of I-Spy books to choose from anything from sport to wildlife so there's a book for everyone . Take a look at the Michelin's I-Spy website www.ispymichelin.com it's great and I've just won my first certificate for scoring 1000 points in 'Cars' and waiting for my 'Birds' certificate to arrive, plus new badges.
Give I-Spy a go it's great fun on your own or with your pals . Waterstones bookshops have the books or you can get them from Michelin online: www.ispymichelin.com

hi , great to see my bit about michelin i-spy books, there are some more new i-spy books due out in April so will get a few more. saw my first sand martin and oystercatcher at rspb sandwell valley near birmingham on tuesday. sadly the visitor centre and its roof where severely damaged by fire in the early hours of saturday morning and the fire crews were there for ages dampening down. its such a shame. i dont know what caused it. i`m there quite a bit so it was a shock.
