As you know in Haiti an earthquake has struck this year and the earthquake has had devastating effects, many people have lost their loved ones and the people of Haiti are fast in danger of contracting diseases if the food and water supplies don't get there quicker enough.

Haiti is a LEDC (Less Economically Developed Country) as we know and it has a low population, because of this there are less houses for people to shelter and many were reduced to rubble during the earthquake leaving people outside in the cold to fend for themselves. Temporary shelters are now trickling through to Haiti, but more can still be done.

The people of Haiti also don't have any access to safe drinking water, meaning they only drink dirty water that's found under rubble because they are so desperate to stay alive. Mothers and parents in Haiti are worried that their children might get diseases as the food supplies and water supplies aren't getting their quick enough. All Haiti have to do now is hope and pray that rescue operations and international support continues to help and that food, water and medicine reaches people as soon as possible.
