Don't give in to the boredom this half term! You're off school for a week - make the most of it!
There's so much going on this half term all over the Vale of Glamorgan, so there should be no reason to get bored. Whether you're into sports, dance, music, multimedia, writing, games, food, making friends, having fun, getting fit, learning new skills, need I go on?! THERE'S LOTS TO DO! Organisations across the Vale have been busy planning this huge range of activities....
SPORT
If you fancy yourself as a bit of dancer and caught the dancing bug after watching 'So you think you can dance' or 'Got to dance' why not give it a try. Motion Control Street Dance (01446 733622) has workshops ranging from 'Boogaloo' to Breakdance, to Hip Hop and House throughout the week in Barry. You can choose the class which best suits your abilities. You can also have ago at Breakdance, circus skills and more at the Splash Community Fun Day this Friday in the Castleland Community Centre.
DANCE
For those of you who are sporty types - check out snorkelling, tag rugby, basketball, dodgeball, football and more at Penarth Leisure Centre (029 20700717). Football at Holme View Leisure Centre (01446 700258) in Barry. Trampolining, multi-sports, football and more in Barry Leisure Centre (01446 744770). Want to be a footie pro? Then try out the Arsenal and Cardiff City Soccer Schools at Cowbridge Leisure Centre (01446 775533). Or Activity Week at Barry Island School and Sports Week at Bryn Hafren Comp.
CREATIVITY
Barry Library is offering lots of activities Wednesday to Saturday including art and crafts, games, creative writing, computers, internet and a Wii Championship (projected on a large screen. Sign up, starts Wednesday). You can also get creative enjoy art, play, activities and photography sessions during the week in Cadoxton Primary, Castleland Community Centre, Cowbridge Youth Centre, Dyfrig Court Llantwit, Llantwit Major Youth Centre and Glyndwr Avenue in St Athan.
MULTIMEDIA
You can also expand your multimedia skills with the 'Mul-T Media X-perience' this Thursday evening in Area 41, Barry. This taster evening gives you a chance to try out loads of activities including, music, performance and production, art and design, graffiti and photography. If you like it you can sign up to the 10 week course! Byrd Crescent Community Centre will also be offering the Music Express workshop Thursday day time too.

Calling all you multimedia peeps! Dont forget to get yourselves down to 'The Mul-T Media X-perience' @Area 41 tonight at 6.30pm. Offering a taste of music, performance and production, media, design, graffiti, art and crafts. If you like it you can sign up to the 10 week project.
