We're Rhian and Brooke and we LOVE to dance!

We're Rhian and Brooke and we LOVE to dance! We Joined YDance in the Vale of Glamorgan in 2003 and we're still dancing now. Emma Mallam the Dance Co-ordinator taught us for many years and then introduced us to our new tutor Lynne Hughes. We are lucky to have such amazing dance teachers and they have always encouraged us to do well.
In the first few years of dancing we took part in a number of competitions at Porthcawl, in which we managed to achieve a few brilliant 1st and 2nd places. We also did a quad (four people group dance) with Katie Hook and Charlotte Paley, and danced our way to 1st place!
Since then we have started to dance in big competitions with the UDO World and Welsh Street Dance Championships. So far we have been to Newport, Port Talbot, Reading, Breen Sands and Blackpool! They have all been amazing experiences.
Last month we took part in a competitions in Newport and in the team dance we came third. We also did a duo and managed to get 1st place!! (Even though we went a bit wrong!)
Over the years we have performed in lots of different places and participated in local shows. We are really grateful for what Emma and Lynne have done for us and hope to go further with dance in the future! =)
