Cool Science!- How to Make a Lava Lamp!
Lava lamps. These groovy 60's throwbacks are still as popular as ever, but if you can't afford to buy a decent sized one for your bedroom or chill-out space, why not make your own!
It involves no electricity or electrical knowledge (phew!) and doesn't require any hot oils; only an old, plastic drinks bottle (any size you want), some cooking oil, some food colouring of your choice, some Alka Seltzer tablets, and a bit of water. Watch the vid to find out how you can make a cheap, but funky little lava lamp of your own!
