My stay at ‘Anglesey Outdoors’ Activity Centre with CLIC was amazing accept for the 10 HOUR BUS RIDE! I met amazing new people, I had a lot of fun. We started off with ice-breakers and got to know everyone, then the next day we got put into groups and did lots of workshops. We did:

• Accreditation

• ‘INFO’ (section) rewrites

• CLIC National (CLICzine)

• Banner making

• CLIC video

• UNCRC

• Consultation

• Quiz

• Kendo

My favourite ones were the quiz and CLIC national. My least favourite was accreditation, but it was cool in a way to help us.

The staff there were really cool and fun, on Saturday night they produced ‘CLIC's Got Talent’ it was an amazing night and after that we had karaoke. Me and a couple of other young people did the dance to ‘Time Warp’, it was great fun!

I didn’t get that much sleep all weekend, because I was having way too much fun. On Saturday night a couple of people and I went out looking for badgers - we didn’t find any, but I’m sure we heard them rustling in the bushes.

I met new people there and we became really close, but we would all soon be going home. So on the Sunday when we were all leaving, it was really upsetting. You make friends then you have to leave them, but I think everyone was a bit tired and a little upset.

The bus journey was the worst, but looking back - it was sort of fun. We were on the bus for 10 hours getting there and 9 hours getting back, but it was cool seeing all the scenery and landscapes. We arrived home at around 8:50 pm, it was kind of cool because everyone was glad to get off the bus.

Apart from that bus trip, it was amazing!!
