Britain's Got Talent 2010!
So we’ve seen weeks and weeks of auditions from all over the UK, some amazing, some funny and some stupid. Thousands of people came to show their talents, or lack of in front of three important people, Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden. Out of all these acts only ten made it through to the final of Britain’s Got Talent 2010!
On the first night of the semi-finals gymnasts Spelbound and dancer Tobais Mead made it through to the finals. Boy band Connected and dog act Tina and Chandi were the next two acts to get into the final. Next was singer Christopher Stone and impressionist Paul Burling. Semi-final four, comedy dancers Twist and Pulse and singer Janey Cutler got through. On the last semi-final held on Friday night Kieran Gaffney the drummer and Liam McNally were the last two acts to make it through to the finals!
The top prize for the Britain’s Got Talent winner is a massive £100,000 and a chance to perform for the Queen at The Royal Variety Show. The judges had nothing but praise for every act in the final this year with Amanda saying, “Your creativity and imagination are second to none, and you’re fit! You’re eye candy and the best dancer in the competition” after Tobias Mead performed. The competition was very close this year with every act in the final being amazing at what they do.
At a very tearful and tense results show Spelbound were crowned the winners of Britain’s Got Talent 2010, “Oh my god, this is unbelievable! We just want to say thank you to everyone out there! It just shows how all this hard work paid off,” said the group on winning.
Even Simon claiming that the best act won on the night. Following Spelbound close behind was Twist and Pulse in second place and Kieran Gaffney in third. Throughout the entire show Spelbound were strong favourites to win and apparently there were people betting over a million pound on them!!
A brilliant finale with ten amazing acts, this made it one of the most entertaining and talented Britain's Got Talent yet!
