- LSD is an hallucinogenic drug and although it can be tiny pellets or liquid it is usually sold as tiny squares of paper. It also known by a number of other names including acid, cheer and trips.
- The effect of taking LSD is known as a trip and the trip can be good or bad. It takes up to an hour for a trip to start and it can last about 12 hours.

- Although trips can make people happy they can cause panic and be confusing and be terrifying
- If you have mental health issues LSD can make them worse
- Taking LSD when you are in a bad mood can cause you to harm yourself
- LSD is a class A drug so it is illegal to have, give away or sell.
- Possession of LSD can mean up to seven years in prison and supplying can mean a life sentence and an unlimited fine.
