Made plans for the 27th June yet? Now you have! Glastonbury too expensive? Reading too far away? Don’t fancy camping in the mud but still want to experience some great live music this summer? Then make sure you come down to ‘Music in Belle Vue Park’. This is the fourth year the Penarth ‘mini’ festival has been running, so whether you come down for an hour or the whole day you’re guaranteed a fun-filled experience. From 2pm-6.30pm, it’s fun for the whole family at this free music event with local bands Endangered, The Snorklers, Jessica Morgan, Dalice, Reisha, John Lennon, the world’s best cabaret band Choc Ice, and Albert Primary School’s Steel Pan band all making an appearance! With a barbecue, and drinks and ice creams on offer, this really will be a memorable summer afternoon. The event’s being organised by registered charity ‘the Friends of Belle Vue Park’ and all money made will go towards the park. So come on down and support local young talent at the Vale’s answer to Glasto and maybe even discover a new favourite band! Kick off your summer the right way with Music In Belle Vue Park.
