The World Street Dance Championships

My name is Bethan Goddard and I have been dancing for 7 years. Dancing is my passion and I cannot live without it. Literally,
Since I have been dancing with 'YDance' a Street Dance Performance Group I have had so many amazing opportunities. 'YDance' is part of the Motion Control Street Dance School in the Vale of Glamorgan. In April 2008 I became a part of their dance crew called 'LDV'. We competed in the United Dance Organisation (UDO) Welsh Street Dance Championship and won first place!
In August 2009 we were offered the opportunity to go to Blackpool to compete in the UDO World Street Dance Championships, 'LDV' got 3rd place, in the WORLDs!! We couldn't believe it, it was the best feeling ever and this was the moment 'LDV' became one.
We worked really hard this year for the UDO Welsh Street Dance Championships and all the hard work paid off, as we picked up 2nd place.
Im very grateful to be a part of 'LDV' because of the experiences I have had. I hope for more to come, the years with 'YDance' have been absolutely fantastic and never want it to end!
