One Direction, Cardiff Motorpoint Arena

...AMAZING!!!

I recently went to the One Direction concert, but it was so hard to get a ticket. They went on sale in October 2011 and I was ready with my whole family. We all had computers and phones waiting for the moment we could buy online! Apparently all the tickets sold out in 5minutes – but I was one of the lucky ones. Four tickets, one for me and three friends. I was so excited!!

On the day we queued outside the Motorpoint Arena for hours just to get inside, it was packed with fans, screaming and shouting. Even more people were still trying to get there hands on tickets.

They had two supporting acts ‘Boyce Avenue’ and Matt Lonsdale, which were both amazing, but not as good as One Direction, of course. I can’t even remember their first song, because I was so excited and couldn’t hear over the screaming crowds. My favourite songs of the night were ‘One Thing’ and ‘Got to be you’, I love them because their upbeat and just amazing.

Highlight of the night was Harry Styles laughing at me! At Me! Me and my friends were waving hysterically, for ages. Then when he finally saw me and waved, I burst into tears and everyone started laughing, but I didn’t care, because Harry waved at me. Oh Yes.

Their final song was ‘What makes you beautiful’, their first ever song. I’m glad they chose to do this song last, because that was really the song that made them. I was so gutted when it finished I wanted to cry! But we did run out as fast as we could when it ended, so we could get around the back of the building to try and catch them as they left. We thought they would come out and see us all with all the security waiting. Sadly they jumped straight on their bus out of there. But I didn’t mind, because Harry still waved at me – I will remember it FOREVER.

Next time, I’m going to camp out all night to get the front row tickets. I love One Direction <3
