Central Park Live 2011 - The
Dance, Music and Theatre Festival presents a spectacular summer showcase
for all ages, whether you want to take part and learn a new style of
dance or simply to sit back and enjoy the delights of dance from around
the world, local bands and theatre, this four day festival is not to be
missed! Brought to you by Motion Control Dance of Vibe Experience and
the Vale of Glamorgan Council.

WORLD OF DANCE |Thursday 4th August - Sunday 7th August 9.00am - 5.00pm
To celebrate 10 successful years of the Motion Control Dance Programme providing community dance in the Vale of Glamorgan, this event will bring together all aspects of dance from Street and Breakdance, to Salsa, Flamenco, Indian and Tai Chi, to Line Dancing, Belly Dancing, Zumba and so much more.
This free event will not only include performances, but a chance to take part and learn dance in a variety of daily workshops, kindly provided by organisations from across the Vale. Why not come along and have a go at dance, a fun, healthy lifelong activity that can be enjoyed by all ages of our community.
LIVE MUSIC | Friday 5th August and Saturday 6th August 5.30-9.30pm.
To celebrate some musical home grown talent upcoming bands and local bands such as ‘Shooting the Moon’, ‘Leighton Jones’, ‘Shamons’, ‘The Queue’ and ‘Brother Steve’ will all be performing LIVE on stage in the fabulous Central Park amphitheatre.
OPEN AIR THEATRE | Sunday 7th August - Performances 12.00 & 3.00pm
The Festival will close with two free open air theatre performances from SWICKA of "MAGICK - The Last Royal Wizard" A 50 strong cast of carnival, circus and street performers present this visually stunning family show featuring scheming magicians, swashbuckling adventurers, acrobats and Welsh Indian warriors! Don’t miss the show of summer!
