ARTIST REVIEW | Singer Olly Murs
Olly Murs, contestant of The X Factor in 2009 and breakout star, brings a whole new spin on music. He writes lyrics with a strong passion, a passion only an Essex boy could share in such a way as he does. Olly has released 2 albums, and performed in his first headlining arena tour this year. I was at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff for the first night of his tour, and could see the enthusiastic spark that is always included in his performances. Murs presents a style completely unique, and not all of it is because of his voice. Olly genuinely cares about his fans' opinions and thoughts, and in a recent documentary about his tour that is very clearly shown.
