1. Don’t give out any personal information even if you think your giving it to someone you know. Don’t!
• Never give out bank details
• Never give out your age
• Never give out your home address
• Never give out your name
• Never give out your E-mail address
2. Make sure an your online social profile it is private.
3. Never upload or share pictures that you don’t want anyone to see or you may regret.
4. Never join social networks like Facebook without your parent’s or guardian knowing.
5. Never give out your passwords which can lead to hacking, bullying or e.g. frapping on Facebook. If someone finds out or guesses your password change it immediately.
6. If you are the victim of bullying or abuse always report it. There are a few websites below that tell you how to tell where to get help or how to deal with it.
7. Never add someone you don’t know they may also not be who they say they are. Or just because they know your friend doesn’t mean you know them.
8. Don’t add so-called celebrities on msn or Facebook because you’re never sure who you’re talking too.
